KKR Real Estate and its European industrial and logistics platform Mirastar have acquired a logistics property near Hanover. The seller of the approximately 49,000 sqm property in Burgwedel is immofonds 1, a public fund of Union Investment Real Estate Austria.
It was developed in 2017, the tenants are Fiege and Rossman. Amongst other actions, KKR and Mirastar plan to further improve the property's ESG footprint by installing solar panels on the roof.
Mirastar was advised on environmental aspects by Ambiente Deutschland GmbH.
