Nuveen Real Estate has acquired a property in Erding as part of its European logistics strategy. The property is fully let and was commissioned in 2022. The total lettable area consists of almost 7,300 square metres, It also has an electric heating system and DGNB Gold certification.
According to Garbe Managing Director Jan Philipp Daun, Munich and the surrounding area are among the top logistics locations due to the density of industry and the associated high demand for logistics space.
However, the supply of new logistics space is largely exhausted and hardly any space for new buildings is being designated or approved. This trend is additionally reinforced by e-commerce, for which the sold property was developed
Nuveen was advised on environmental aspects by Ambiente Deutschland GmbH.
